Joanna Niven is a professional photographer focusing on maternity, birth, newborn, and family photography and is passionate about capturing the sweet spots in life. With the opening of her new studio located in Lake Mills, WI, Joanna wanted to give her brand a refresh. Tingalls Graphic Design was able to help her create a fresh, soft and natural look that would be reflective of her photography style from logo to print and outdoor signage.
Joanna wanted a logo refresh that was more representative her and her photography style. The two birds in the logo represent the relationship with her daughter. The watercolor was added to the birds as a way to represent her photography style: soft, light and artistic. She also wanted her logo to be able to change with season, but still be recognizable as her brand.
Without a doubt, I knew that Tingalls was the perfect creative team to contact for rebranding my photography business. The creativity, beauty of the end result, along with the speed of the creation process, exceeded my expectations. At times, new clients are drawn to my photography business solely based on the beauty of my logo before they even see my photography work.
