A new hometown favorite, J. Henry and Sons bourbon is distilled in Dane, WI from Wisconsin Red Seed Corn. The Henry Family Farms have been a member of the Dane Community for generations. They came to Tingalls Graphic Design for a brand identity design. We created the logo, stationery, product labels, and promotional items.
Made from heirloom red corn, developed in 1939 by the University of Wisconsin, J. Henry & Sons has a long history in Wisconsin. Their branded bottles needed to reflect that so it would stand out on the top shelf. Taking their past, location, and vision into account resulted in an elegant scripted font, earthy hues, and a label that had a beautiful textile look begging to be touched (and bourbon to be sipped.)
