We at Tingalls like to think we’re a pretty fun bunch. Get to know us a little bit better as we take turns in the spotlight in the upcoming months. This week, it’s Whitney’s turn!
Role: Graphic Designer
Has been with Tingalls: 6 years
Your role in a few sentences: I think of my role as being a creative problem solver. I get to take all the “pieces” of a project and make sure they all fit together and end up looking like a spiffy finished puzzle.
Favorite thing about your job: My favorite thing about my job is the variety of clients and companies that we get the opportunity to do projects with. I love learning about different topics that I would normally know nothing about. It makes every day interesting and different.
First thing you do when you get to work each day: Make a cup of coffee or a chai tea and make my to-do list for the day.
A work project you are particularly proud of: I’m proud of the work we’ve done for Community Living Connections. Not only were they a pleasure to work with, but they have a great mission. It was very rewarding to build them a new, meaningful and vibrant brand that reflects what they do.
One of your quirks: I love to talk in accents.
Where you would go if you were invisible: I would sneak into movies. I love going to movies and this would save me a LOT of money.
TV sitcom family would you want to be a member of: Friends. Who wouldn’t want to live in an apartment with their friends and drink coffee all day instead of working? (Seriously, it seems like they hardly ever go to work!) It would be the best!
