Good question indeed. Tingalls 3-month internship program is a unique opportunity for graphic designers finishing their last year of school or just beginning their career to add tangible work to their personal portfolio. They also participate in full team brainstorming meetings, sales meetings, tour printers and learn about our overall design process, time management, and more.
And, since Tingalls hires its full time design staff from candidates who've completed the internship program, it's the only way to get your foot in the door.
Resumes will be accepted December 15, 2016 through January 15, 2017 with interviews to follow. Position starts Monday February 6th and ends April 28, 2017.
Our internships are unpaid for the first 10 hours worked each week. Additional hours (up to 20 hours per week) are compensated based on company workload and your hourly rate is determined by experience, talent and contributions to the team.

"I liked the sense of community I felt with my co-workers, not only during team building events but also being able to receive feedback in the middle of design projects."

"Aside from designing, I was able to also sit in on staff and client meetings. I also found it very helpful to see how documents were formatted to proof out to clients and to learn an organized filing structure."
